The Metrolina Trauma Advisory Committee (MTAC) is one of eight North Carolina Regional Advisory Councils (RAC'S), dedicated to working with its regional emergency and trauma care providers, hospitals, and agencies in efforts of constructing and maintaining a coordinative, evidence based process for the delivery of consistent, quality trauma care. These objectives could not be achieved without the shared collaboration among the Metrolina RAC's regional providers; ensuring an emphasis on quality of care through appropriate utilization of trauma system resources and timely access to a Trauma Center when needed. Below is a list of the organizations within the Metrolina region.
Join us for the annual Metrolina Trauma Symposium on May 9-10, 2024 in Charlotte, NC.
Take this opportunity for experiential learning on trauma care through hands on simulation experiences coupled with talks and discussion panels from subject matter experts from across the region. CME/CEU will be offered!
All levels of trauma and emergency care providers are welcome to join us. There will be offerings of interest to everyone. Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics, EMTs, First Responders, Trauma Registrars, and more are all welcome and will find classes.
We hope you can attend both days but single day registration is available.
Vendors will be available to demo the latest trauma care and education products, answer questions, and network.
